What’s one of the biggest myths about aging?
That cognitive decline is inevitable. In a new study of nearly 4,000 people in the @NaturePortfolio journal "Scientific Reports," we learn the opposite is true: By practicing small, daily habits, you can make a direct impact on your brain health.
Strategies used by the participants included: single-tasking vs. multitasking, taking tech-free brain breaks, journaling, bringing awareness to their breath, expressing gratitude, and volunteering.
And those who started at the lowest baseline saw some of the largest gains.
