The Alzheimer's Causal Factor Hardly Anyone Is Looking At | Dr. Dennis N Crouse
Today, I am very honored to introduce Dr. Dennis N Crouse. Dennis N Crouse earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Harvard College and his Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Harvard University’s Chemistry Department. He has also completed post-graduate coursework in Understanding Dementia at the University of Tasmania and Fundamentals of Neuroscience at Harvard.
After graduate school, Dr. Crouse co-founded a company that became the only FDA-licensed lab in New England for analyzing toxic chemicals like PCBs and pesticides in meat products. He and his team developed stable isotopically labeled standards used worldwide for chemical analysis, along with instruments for measuring metal corrosion and gas detectors still used by utilities.
In recent years, motivated by his mother’s diagnosis with late-onset Alzheimer’s, Dr. Crouse has devoted himself to researching the connections between aluminum accumulation and neurological conditions. He is the author of several books, including Prevent Alzheimer’s, Autism, and Stroke, and focuses on the role of silica-rich water (orthosilicic acid) in helping remove a certain light metal element from the body to support brain health. His work has been tremendously helpful for me, my dad and family and I am very grateful to have him with us today.
Hope this is helpful to you and your family!
Anyone else drinking Silica-rich water?

It was so awesome to present with @matthewbaszucki in NYC to a group of executives about the intersection of mental and metabolic health and metabolic therapies as treatments for mental illness!
Thank you, Matt, for so openly and honestly sharing your story.
@ValerieAnne1970 My two-year old son tested in the 97th percentile for Glyphosate. Thank Banza Pasta for this. Eliminated this and his levels came down to the 30th in months. His "sensory processing disorder" went away as a result. We need to ban Glyphosate.
We’re recruiting UK adults for a research study exploring ketogenic metabolic therapy for depression and anxiety. 🧠 If you want to see how nutrition may improve your mental health, we invite you apply here, starts July 13th: https://t.co/v4tox4qMfh

🫀The blood work looked great. The heart scans didn't budge.
A new trial on Olezarsen lowered key cardiovascular markers but produced zero reduction in coronary artery plaque. @bschermd explains what this reveals about the limits of drug-first thinking in heart disease.
🧠The hardest part isn’t food, it’s uncertainty.
Most people struggle with “Am I doing this right?” Community support removes that doubt. At IKRT, you don’t have to hold all the questions by yourself.

Single-drug approaches to dementia have failed clinical trials over 400 times. Don’t wait for Big Pharma to figure this out. As our recent clinical trial showed, the ReCODE Protocol is the most effective program for reversing cognitive decline by far. https://t.co/x2ScIHbbMJ
Brain health and metabolic health may be more connected than we realize.
Join us for the next #WalkerWebcast as @willywalk sits down with @ChrisPalmerMD to discuss brain health, metabolism, nutrition, and the future of mental health treatment.

Therapy doesn't work if your brain is broken.
Rebuilding thought patterns, processing trauma, rewiring emotional responses, that is cognitively demanding work. And if your brain is insulin resistant....if it's running on the wrong fuel....if your neurons don't have the energy to fire properly....you will spin in therapy for years without progress.
This is why I believe the order of operations matters so much.
Fix the metabolic foundation first. Then do the psychological work. You will be shocked at how much more progress you make.
Also......has therapy alone ever REALLY put someone's schizophrenia or bipolar into remission??? Freud was very wrong, I think.
@AmmousMD Yes! My wife was baited many times into "scheduling" her birth via C-section for our three children. "Scheduling" births generates more predictable revenue for the hospital industrial complex than waiting around till mothers and babies are ready for delivery.
We're heading to Capitol Hill to talk about food, GLP-1s, and chronic disease.
