If you're early in your creative career and can't get clients, it's usually one of 3 things:
Skill issue.
-Your work isn't good enough yet. That's fine. Everyone starts there. Do more projects, but do the right projects. Random practice doesn't automatically make you hirable.
Wrong niche.
-You want VFX clients but your portfolio is gaming edits. Maybe your skills transfer. Doesn't matter. Clients don't hire based on assumptions. They hire proof. Make projects in your niche. Post them.
Not enough outreach.
-No traction? Be shameless. DM people. Start conversations. Reply to comments. Network. Opportunities rarely show up before you do.
Most creatives only focus on the work.
Please don't be most creatives.
