What makes us God’s child is our belief and acceptance in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. As God’s children we don’t have to do life by ourselves and our way without God. He wants to be an active Father and Friend for every single part of our lives.

My thoughts on John 1:12

To be condemned is to be “officially declared unfit for use.” While we may be broken tools, in Christ God makes us completely new and fit to do work for His service, in His Kingdom! Hallelujah!

So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. Romans 8:1 NLT

God set eternity in our hearts (Ecc 3:11). Nothing in this life truly satisfies us but God. To guard your heart is to yield to God, seek Him above all else, and ultimately give your heart back to Him through a relationship grounded on love, trust, experience, and faithfulness.
