@chrismaheras_ For yeas I told my gynecologists my paternal grandma & aunt had breast cancer before 50. Multiple doctors told me it didn’t matter because it was on my dad’s side. I was diagnosed with breast cancer at 40. I have a genetic mutation I got from my dad.

@PeytonElroy I’m 40 and got diagnosed with breast cancer this year. Did I do chemo? I sure as hell did. I didn’t want to regret not doing it. If it comes back I know I did everything I could do. PS. Chemo wasn’t nearly as bad as I thought it would be. Not everyone has awful side effects.

@LittleCongress I was in the best shape of my life. CrossFit 5 days a week. Eating healthy, didn’t drink , didn’t smoke. Diagnosed with breast cancer at 40. Turns out I have a genetic mutation. No amount of healthy would have stoped it from happening.

@noahkaufmanmd I’m 40. Diagnosed with cancer. My out of pocket max was 2,200. My bills so far this year are over 500k. I’m thankful that I have insurance and a low deductible. I’ve been paying for health insurance for years to cover me just in case. The just in case happened this year.
