First off great throw from the right fielder.

But it’s beyond obvious he never got the tag on him. Most telling reason is him immediately going to put the tag back on his knee after swiping wildly and missing.

Ump is right on top of it and misses it. Ok, at least that’s why we have replay.

Replay also gets it wrong. Home plate ump then gets the announcement of the incorrect call, incorrect.

Bad all the way around. Failed at every aspect of the execution of that play/call. And did it in a tie game in an elimination game.

@GoodmanHoops He got good advice from a smart agent, family, and likely coaching staff. So many athletes today have no sense of reality, and an agent out for themselves. Agents put as many players in the draft as they can hoping one or two get them their payday.
