Maybe it’s the baseball purist in me, but Francisco Lindor’s lack of intensity has been very frustrating. The Dodgers are/have been the biggest obstacle to the Mets’ WS goal, and Lindor is out there hugging the Dodgers as if they’re best friends. I get that it’s not the 80s anymore, but especially with all the struggles and mental lapses lately, READ THE ROOM. The last thing any Mets fan wants to see right now is their $341M superstar laughing with a team that’s kicking our asses.

Nobody likes to lose but I saw some “ green shoots tonight “. On offense, Lindor had two hits including a home run. Bichette got a double hitting it to left field as opposed to recently being right field prone. Benge got a solid hit. Soto started his running progression today. Semien hit a shot that might have been a home run on a warmer night. Finally, Nolan McLean pitched an outstanding game going 7 innings. Hang in there fans, we will turn this around !
