Disastrous JD Vance Israel Press Conference – VDH Breaks It Down!

The more Vance criticized Israel during the conference, the more animated he became saying "I want to warn you… I’m sending a message.”

Historian Victor Davis Hanson sharply critiqued Vice President JD Vance’s recent press conference remarks on Israel, suggesting Vance may have exceeded his mandate. “I don’t think that he was authorized to say the things he did to such an extent,” Hanson stated.

He observed that the more Vance criticized Israel during the conference, the more animated he became, warning, “there are people there and I want to warn you that two-thirds of your defense comes from us and I want to warn you… I’m sending a message.” Hanson added that he was unsure whether Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had made similar comments and urged caution, noting one must “be very careful.”Hanson described Vance’s approach as the typical vice-presidential role of “punching back at the president’s critics” and acting as a “non-supplicant,” contrasting it with Ukrainian President Zelenskyy’s direct criticism during his White House visit.

While puzzled by the tone, Hanson stressed the broader strategic stakes: “It’s in our interest to get rid of the bomb. Because once they destroy Israel, they’re going to try to threaten us and Europe with nuclear weapons.”

Hanson credited Israel with making the U.S. strike on Iranian nuclear facilities last June possible by destroying air-defense systems, stating, “We would have never been able to bomb last June the nuclear facilities had there been air defenses.” Hanson contrasted this with European allies who offered no help and instead blocked access, noting that leaders including Meloni, Macron, Starmer, and “the nut in Spain” told the U.S., “You can’t use our bases.”

The murderer in Montreal has been named: Seth Hatfield, from Alberta. He murdered a policeman in a shooting spree in a Jewish neighbourhood in Montreal.

Soon afterwards, government journalists at the CBC and elsewhere started describing a manifesto that he had left behind. But none of them published the actual document — they just quoted the odd phrase from it, and called him an “incel”. That’s a term for someone who was “involuntarily celibate”, or someone who didn’t do well with women. The usual suspects were doing the media circuit claiming that Hatfield was a “right wing” extremist.

But if that was true, why was the manifesto being shown only to selected, government-friendly journalists? Why were the rest of us blocked from seeing it for ourselves?

It’s true that the murderer had extreme ideas about women. But that was only a small part of his world view. In most of the rest of his rambling remarks, he was indistinguishable from left-wing politicians like Bernie Sanders, Avi Lewis, or half the Liberal cabinet.

He praised Communism. He called for the abolition of private property. He railed against the Jews, and Zionism. And — like Mark Carney himself — he demanded the censorship of the Internet.
