Even as a kid I thought it was mid and mean-spirited. Meanwhile, here in 2026…SpongeBob is still going strong with no end in sight.

@NCO61 @RebelTaxi A tale as old as time. It’s often hard to enjoy a show when it’s chronically mean-spirited or if the protagonists never win. They don’t always win, such is life. But when it’s every episode of them getting bullied and not winning, it makes it a drag to watch.
