NEW: Texas mom detained by Fulshear police with children in the car despite mismatched robbery suspect description

A Texas mom shared a video after she was detained by Fulshear police while her stepdaughter and toddler were in the vehicle.

Officers said her car “matched the description” of a vehicle involved in a gas station robbery.

The details don’t line up at all.

The car Fulshear PD was searching for was a different vehicle type, with a suspect of a different race and different gender.

Despite that, she was still detained.

She was not physically harmed, but says the mental impact was significant.

She wrote: “I have a clean record. And if this is what I experienced… I can only imagine what others go through every single day.”

She’s now looking at the possibility of filing a lawsuit.
