@Carolin21394786 I agree. As we go deeper into the Information Age, new technologies will continue to make information that borders the line between reality and fraud. This is why I think we need to start better educating people on Information consumption NOW, or else it'll be too late. #dcim353a
@RUstolz I see where you're coming from, but I honestly think that live events will still be well attended even if VR takes off - which I do believe it will for the record. I just think that live events are more physical & emotional in ways that VR will not be able to replicate #dcim353a
@NikitaPunit Once the technology becomes advanced and cheap enough, I can totally see a whole network of self driving cars replacing the need for human drivers in the future. That idea is still awhile away though as self-driving cars are still in their infancy. #dcim353a
I predict that virtual reality will become a common household technology just like a home computer or gaming console. Right now, VR is still expensive but it gets cheaper every year. Soon a larger population will have the opportunity to interact online in VR #dcim353a
@AmandaGenoves11 Networking is one of the most important things you can do at your time at college so I agree! I'm glad this activity allowed us to have a chance to interact with other students from other schools, expanding our network. #txc19#dcim353a
@EtkineErika You make an interesting point about post engagement. That wasn't something I focused on during this activity but I can definitely see how certain posts attracted more attention and engagement than others. #txc19#dcim353a
@DannyD2830 One of the most interesting things about this activity was being able to learn about the culture at other schools so I agree! We're all students but we might do things different based on what is made available to us. #txc19#dcim353a
My takeaway from this activity was that no matter which school we go to, we each have different ways we learn & interact with our resources. Sometimes it's similar & sometimes it's different, but we get to share our experiences over social media. #TXC19#dcim353a
@RUKeyurPalan I love the graphic you made that represents you and your interests. It instantly gives me a visually peek into your life and who you are, as well as your many interests. #txc19#dcim353a
@JonathanLouie1 These photos are great! I see that you've taken photos of sports games. Have you already started transitioning your hobby into a professional brand in the sense that you may charge people/events for photos? #txc19#dcim353a
@alexmanacop It's great to see people who's academic and professional interests are also their personal interests. It goes a long way for personal happiness when you do what you love as a profession. #txc19#dcim353a
Professionally, I am & will be a software dev with a focus on frontend design, as well as a capable leader. For 4 years, I ran a large event called HackRU where hundreds of students created tech projects over a weekend. I will be graduating w/ a BSc. in Comp Sci #dcim353a#txc19
My personal brand & interests involves e-skateboards (esk8). I create esk8 reviews & content because have a unique perspective about it, having owned and used multiple types, and I believe they are part of the future of urban transportation. #dcim353a#txc19
@lamisqayyum Finding a right balance of work, play, and sleep is important at Rutgers since, like you said, there's so much to do. I know a lot of people that stress themselves out by doing too much and it affects their performance for everything. Time management is key! #TXC19#DCIM353a
@JoyceYi18 Totally agree, especially with the buses. As Rutgers students, we know that buses are often unreliable or run late, so it's always a good idea to plan ahead and even take an earlier bus to avoid unexpected consequences. #TXC19#DCIM353a
@JTDCIM7 This is a great tip, especially for those tired of taking the buses. Sometimes it's unavoidable, but when scheduled right, it can help with time management. At the very least, try to schedule classes that start on the campus you live on to make waking up easier #TXC19#DCIM353a
At Rutgers, joining organizations & events is an important part of success because it's a great way to make connections, one of the most important things to do in college. The people you meet by at clubs, communities, events will be great assets in the future #TXC19#DCIM353a
@AnthonyCornatz1 This sounds very nice and peaceful. Is it a common thing for students to do (on their way to class) or is it an option for people if they wish? The only activities similar at Rutgers I can think of are walking along the Raritan River or through our eco preserve #TXC19#DCIM353a
@_gracebra That's an incredible building! Does Stockton only have 1 campus center? Rutgers has about 5 for every campus, but compared to your's, our's are pretty small. I wish Rutgers has a single large building like Stockton that is more dedicated for special events. #TXC19#DCIM353a
