@Jgrossett15 @KaiserBCFC_ I think there needs to be perspective. If any of us were in the final 6 months of our contract and Wrexham came calling (offering a lot more money and were more likely to get in the Play Offs then we were last season), then most people would leave.

Albeit if he carries on the form from the last 2 games (which were in Sept) then he has a shout for Sept Manager of the Month.

@TurtleDaveT He’s captain material. You know he’s going to give 100% no matter the circumstances. Also, despite him leaving, it’ll still provide continuity for this season.

I have no issues with him staying until Jan/July 27. He provides a lot of value off the pitch as well as on it.

@LewisYatesbcfc @TheExiledRobin @BristolCity Also remember that Ellis said that there will be lag from previous personnel in charge. I believe the only way we keep Knight is if we get promoted this season.

Nonetheless, Knight has been a fantastic servant and captain for our club and I generally wish him all the best.

@JBCFC03 @bcfc_george It’ll be about £10m-£12m I think. We sold him for £25m so if we inserted a 20% sell on (subject to him being sold for £80m) then it’ll be in the region of £10m-£12m.

But we wouldn’t get that in one go.
