When the illusion finally shatters, what’s left isn’t just disappointment,it’s total embarrassment.
The man you invested your faith in wasn’t a savior at all, just an empty act stitched together with arrogance, noise, and relentless self-promotion.
All that confidence, all those grand promises, all the swagger,it collapses into something painfully small the moment it’s tested against reality.
There’s no hidden genius, no bold disruptor underneath it all.
Just a loud, impulsive figure flailing through responsibilities he clearly wasn’t equipped to handle, drowning incompetence in a flood of bluster.
In the end, what once looked like strength turns out to be nothing more than cheap theatrics.
Not leadership,just a gaudy performance.
A caricature.
A spectacle.
And the real sting isn’t that it was absurd,it’s realizing how long it took to admit you were taken in by his bullshit...
Abraham Lincoln got shot in the head and still managed to keep the country together. Franklin Roosevelt ran the entire Second World War from a wheelchair. Eisenhower defeated Hitler and then, just to stay busy, built 48,000 miles of motorway. Kennedy looked at the moon, said “we’ll have that,” and inside a decade they did. Reagan stared down the Soviet Union until it simply gave up and went home.
Two hundred and fifty years. Forty-six men. Men who stormed beaches, split atoms, faced down nuclear annihilation over breakfast and then filed sensible paperwork about it afterward.
And then, after all of that, the entire accumulated weight of American history, the most consequential democratic experiment the world has ever seen, produced this.
A television review.
No Mars landing. No cure for cancer. No Soviet empire dissolved before lunch. Just a man in the White House, in the year 2026, informing the internet that a CBS chat show host had no talent.
That is what 250 years of American greatness built. America should be deeply, permanently ashamed of itself.

Bezos ended shopping malls. Big box stores. Family owned boutiques, book stores, and businesses of all kinds. He strip-mined the US economy and left you in poverty, a slave to your internet connection. All you've got now is that fucking cell phone. You'll never own a house or buy another new car because of this jackass and his broligarch friends.
The President just used his power to exempt himself and his family from audits on every tax return they've ever filed.
If that is not corruption to the highest degree, then what is?

The overall story of the second Trump admin is the abuse of power to enrich his family, reward his friends, and forgive crimes committed on his behalf, while punishing critics, threatening civil society, taxing the rest of us, and piling debt on our children.
This is easily the saddest time in American history. The absolute worst people are systematically destroying the country, and our system is completely failing to stop them.
There aren’t adequate words to properly express the depth and scale of trump’s corruption, it’s completely on a scale of its own with no historical equivalent to point to.
After Donald Trump’s visit to China, even the most cautious observer should now be able to see the obvious:
The United States has voluntarily relinquished its role as the central power of the democratic world.
If you are a dictator in Russia or China, you can expect respect, flattering words, and promises of cooperation (Trump would clearly also prefer a cooperative relationship with Putin’s Russia - though domestic political realities still constrain how openly he can pursue that ambition).
If, on the other hand, you are a free country in the political West - or merely a smaller allied nation - you can expect mockery, unreasonable demands, and shifting ultimatums that are forgotten five minutes later because they were never intended to be taken seriously in the first place.
And above all: the implicit message that if things turn ugly, you are on your own.
The correct reaction is neither anger nor indignation. Such reactions make little impression in the United States. And in Europe, they mostly waste valuable time.
Instead, we must make Europe stronger and more independent. And we must deepen the alliances we already have with freedom-oriented nations across the world.
Had Donald Trump consulted the Oracle of Delphi about his plans, the Oracle would probably have replied:
You will cause a great empire to crumble.
Trump would likely have returned happily to Mar-a-Lago. As his reaction to Xi’s references to Thucydides revealed, he does not seem to know his classics either.
If you think Twitter is a place for free and fair exchange of opinions in the name of free speech, think again.
Twitter consistently promotes the dumbest MAGA viewpoints.
Look at the comments on this post by JD Vance. The top comments are brain-dead bots amplifying the party line. Only if you scroll much further down will you find the comments that people actually agree with — some of them with many thousands of likes, but still downgraded by Twitter so they do not appear at the top.
We are all being manipulated here. And this is exactly why the EU — the only real champion of a fair and free public debate — has fined Twitter for its lack of transparency regarding its algorithm.
The world's democracies are being targeted one by one. That has to stop.
China has imposed trade boycotts on Australia, Lithuania, South Korea and Canada. Each time, the target stood alone. Each time, it worked.
The answer is not self-sufficiency. It is collective action.
Today I launch After the Rupture: An alliance of middle-power democracies led by a D-7: seven democracies representing 30% of the global economy, acting together on trade, technology, critical minerals and defence.
Not a new institution. A coalition of the willing, and the able.

How do you instigate a civil war?
1. Deprive people of democratic representation.
2. Spread lies & conspiracy theories.
3. Promote racism & ethnic discrimination.
4. Restrict freedom of expression.
5. Allow armed militias.
The US is on its way.
When the illusion finally cracks, you’re left staring at the reality you tried to ignore: the man you trusted wasn’t a savior, just a hollow performance propped up by bluster and ego.
The confidence, the promises, the swagger,it all collapses into something far less impressive.
Not a mastermind, not a disruptor, just a loud, erratic figure out of his depth, masking incompetence with noise.
In the end, what looked like strength reveals itself as pure theatrics,a caricature, a spectacle, a punchline that stopped being funny the moment you realized you were the one who believed all his bullshit......
For the first time, I am extremely proud to share the OFFICIAL logo for the Donald J. Trump International Airport in Palm Beach, Florida. There is no person more deserving of this incredible honor than @realDonaldTrump! Congratulations Dad!
Looking forward to seeing flights landing at “DJT” very very soon! 🇺🇸🛬
90% of American hatred of the EU on this hell site is explained by the government’s and MAGA ditto-head trolls knowing this would never work in the EU, where you’d face consequences.
Unlike in the US today.
Instead we get “Europoors”, “unelected bureaucrats” and “censorship”
