@TehzeebViratian @alexgildeatrott I wouldn’t say it’s that. Part of it is Arsenal are a bonafide rival in the sense you have a history of winning, no one thought much about City, we all knew their achievements were irrelevant. Nobody cared. Another is the dark arts, style of football of Arteta.

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

@LesbianBigies @naiivememe Always thought it was more skater culture that influenced baggy jeans rather than Hip hop. Although I’m no fashionista.

@sportingintel @Knox_Harrington If this is you pulling punches, don’t ever hit us with a combo. Great work throughout all of this Nick, our game owes you a debt of gratitude. 🙏

Every single privatised industry that was once publicly owned greatly improved under privatisation.

The hankering for public ownership as some form of remedy to the countries ills is pure fantasy.

@RemigrationVibe @PolitlcsUK @andyburnham Checked your bills recently?

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

@MovieTankRob Feels like there’s too many players through the doors to charge each and every player/manager/staffer, but they all MUST have been aware how much they were being paid and how little tax was attributed to those payments. I wonder if that comes out in the wash…

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

If Man City have been paying a manager off the books and from entities outside the UK, isn’t a genuine line of investigation that players were also, and if they were, what tax have the players NOT paid or have to disclose?

[Jfunnell @jfunnell_lfc]

By the way, the 2018 charges aren't the last.

They have also been charged for failing to provide documents from 2018-2023, the PL has also requested 2024 and 2025 and all have been refused.

The PL will go after them for the later years, and then they will be "repeat" offenders, with even worse punishment than the first time.

Man City are going bye bye, it is very simple.

[Taffin @CalvLyfeson]

Does anyone think City just stopped cheating in 2018? They're still at it. Rotten to the core. I hope the club is wound up to be honest.

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

@GeorgieGirlLvp Good point and written a few things on who cops got off the books payments: the club or the players whom have been on contracts that may have circumvented the payment of tax.

Oasis should release: “Sham. Pain. Supernova”

Hats off to the legend @JayMotty for keeping it together in the face of such insanity

[Ian Herbert @ianherbs]

When I wrote about this image rights sham for The Independent in 2018, Manchester City threatened to sue us and demanded I tweet out a personal apology on here. We fought them. They did not sue us.
City's sham is confirmed by the Premier League today https://t.co/Fzemh3f8CA

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

@stardorman £100m per season for 9 seasons rather.

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

@stardorman The only thing I’m surprised about is I thought it would be more. But £100m over the 9yr period. Sheesh. Don’t know why there isn’t more to investigate regarding everything past 2018? Everything up to the punishment date should be punishable due to non compliance.

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

Everything should be questioned if sham contracts and keeping operated costs artificially down with “undislosed” transfer fees and contracts is under scrutiny.

[Brandon @Brantanomobay]

Is that something the club has to cop for? Or is it the players whom were residents of the UK while earning these vast sums. I doubt the players get done for tax evasion but that’s the scale of fraud we’re talking here.
