I agree that playing a lot is somewhat a requirement, but it's not the only thing.

I play a lot, I have sessions where I am with a positive WR and CR and I still dropped SP, to maintain SP or to climb at the top requires way more than to play a lot and actually requires to win a lot and by a margin.

The fallback for PMVs is avatar if you are rare complete for when you roll a rare

Same with collectors reserves.

That's why it's better to stay rare complete from PMVs and reserves and get 200 gold from MVs
