@RonFilipkowski There’s a reason he wasn’t allowed to make a speech at the memorial today. Actually, several reasons, but his blatant disregard for tragedy in the interest of self-aggrandizement is definitely one of them.
@RonFilipkowski It’s astounding to have to explain to people that, 1, no, the president can’t bribe you to vote for him, 2, even if he could, he won’t, and 3, if he did, the consequences would be bad. Lowest-level, bare-minimum political savvy.
@realDonaldTrump Psst. Actually great leaders don’t need to make a 3-minute-long video to tell everybody how great they are. They just deliver on what they promised. It’s that simple.
@covie_93 Yet they want to keep @NYCMayor (who recently released 170K pages of TRUTHS about 9/11) from attending the memorial ceremony. Nothing is sacred; it’s not about morality.
@HouseDemocrats Enough will never be enough. That’s why he wants to stay in office: to keep stuffing his own pockets while having the power to tell us that WE’RE what’s wrong with the U.S. economy.
@donwinslow “If you can control oil prices, why don’t you lower them first?”
“…Why don’t you vote first?”
“More people would vote for you if you successfully lowered oil prices.”
“…………….But I need you to vote first. 👀”
@SteveRattner Remember back in 2024 when Republicans kept saying, “He’s going to create more jobs!” and everyone else kept saying, “no, he most certainly, definitely is NOT”?
@Acyn He’s broken so many of his promises that the only move he has left now is to threaten what will happen if we DON’T vote for him.
(Also, “they” are laughing at us SO MUCH.)
@econliberties@BedoyaUSA When leadership starts treating the speech of individuals as a bigger threat than the systems of institutions, authoritarianism isn’t far off.
@GavinNewsom Hey, FYI, if you want more context as to what Trump and co. have been doing to suppress the vote, we made a film about it: https://t.co/v5gawIFCOh
60 Minutes used to be a reputable news source — before Bari Weiss took over. Now, it buries stories, twists the truth, and consistently presents a viewpoint slanted in favor of Trump’s narrative.
Joy-Ann Reid made an excellent point in her interview with “Murdering 60 Minutes” producer/Brave New Films’ founder Robert Greenwald: what’s premiering this Sunday is not the “60 Minutes” we once knew.
Should Bari Weiss be allowed to keep running the network into the ground? Contact David Ellison and Paramount Skydance and let them know what you think:
