We're now live on Twitter! Chet, Zack and I are really excited to add another platform to the mix in addition to our posts on Facebook!- Jack #ATL#Braves
I feel like the backlog of trades will begin to loosen up a bit after Mookie...and the Dodgers would be out on Nolan Arenado if they dealt w/ Boston, putting the Braves in a great spot.
IF they wanted him...
If ever this man decides he wants to be a coach/front office guy, the Braves would be remissed if they didn’t at least talk to him. Such a bright light in the game, specifically regarding his burden for inner city youths and bringing them the game he loves so well
With Ron Washington a potential top candidate for one of these recently- vacated managerial positions, I’d greatly prefer a 3B acquisition who can properly field his position. Sorry KB fans (me too) but his chance of becoming a better fielder would leave with Wash’s absence IMO
@Drgntrnr Definitely very unlikely, but that type of deal would make it possible for more moves. Beane should keep him, although he’s not been known to hold on to many established players over the past decade or more. Still, it’s all conjecture until more comes out.
A name many have not mentioned in trade talks, due to the unlikelihood of his availability is Matt Chapman. In line with the Albies and Acuña deals, a trade for Chapman would guarantee a key part of the team carries a low enough salary to extend Freddie AND sign a guy like Ozuna.
With JD headed north to the Twins, AA may quickly pivot with a big trade. Here's five top prospects the @Braves' could headline to land an impact bat before Opening Day.

Cristian Pache just drew a walk during a SIXTEEN pitch at-bat. That's how you can tell he has improved as a hitter this season. He's 2-for-2 with a double and run in the nightcap.
