I remember first hearing of Chet about 5 years ago or so. He had started posting these in-depth, informative but hilarious Braves videos that were growing in popularity. Now he has a rapidly growing Facebook page and is expanding the brand a bit. Give @BravesTomaBlog a follow!

@MacheteMoonlig1@knockahomantn Yeah this is what’s going to happen. I started getting the same feeling as soon as Jarvis began regressing to the mean.
And Knockahoma Nation knows that Kim’s shoulder would never survive an inning of relief lol
@CJNitkowski@BryanBHopkins1 He’s a grown man who’s capable of changing and adapting…for sure…BUT, he’s been so unbelievably successful in the pen, I hate to move him. I’d have rather got a playoff starter and slot another guy like Grant to the pen. No fault of his either, he’s a filthy pen weapon too
@CelliniNick No limitations-but yeah there are constraints. Whether he imposes them on himself to keep them happy, or whether he’s encouraged by McGuirk or he wants that roll some day. Idk…but there definitely is a fear of spreading too thin and longterm consequences. For whatever reasons
@MHIIisKing There were reports of his last start or so coming back from the IL. I felt like he wasn’t the guy physically. I love JdG, but he wasn’t either. Like my Granny who grew up in the Great Depression and lived on soup beans and collards: give me a healthy number 2 any day of the week!
@mlbbowman If we couldn’t get Webb, Skubal or another big game dude, the question has to be asked: was anyone available better than a mix of 4-5 guys called up to fill innings? Maybe, but prob not worth it for the reg season. It would’ve been a postseason decision, & not hurting rookies
@mlbbowman Grant in the rotation in like running a fast mule in a horse race and having him win. It’s like…yes killer. He shouldn’t HAVE to be that guy on this team. But yeah, I love Grant, just wish he was a luxury in the 7th or to cover multiple backend innings in the playoffs.
@680TheFan@BFinn86@Kelly_Crull@JohnMichaelsU@HometeamBleak Him coming on the air to be transparent is like when Kim Jong Un or Putin ceremonially cast their ballot in their democratic elections.
But srsly, I’d like to hear an R rated, no holds barred interview with Chris Dimino for 45 minutes. And maybe a dose of truth serum 😆
@IsaiahNorris Holmes and ReyLo, if healthy, are game changers in bullpen games. Fuentes as well. But by George, you need that number 2 behind Sale for at least 5-10 wins between now and then and to be ready come October. To help those guys get/stay healthy and be useful if we get there
@SchwellenSzn Yep agreed. Good job, but that should’ve been one of many specific avenues of heavy traction. Is Mize hurting? Was Detmers only being traded for like Hartman, Tate/Lodise, Cam +? Were other guys bad in the clubhouse? Things we don’t know…but we needed a Championship No. 2-3
@Bravesguy23 I used to not think this way, but seeing how Fuentes was used last year and some of the others (specifically pitchers) it’s glaring. They need to aggressively be pursuing pitching to fill in the spots these dudes have proven they’re not ready to fill.
@mlbbowman He trolls the entire river like someone seining for bait…and my Lord does he catch some treasures. His drafts have been good most of the time, even after losing Dana Brown. I love a lot of what AA does. But yuck, is this and many other deadline/offseason moves depressing.
@scottcoleman55 There is a gift some folks have with getting deals done and sometimes it requires some reckless cowboy-craziness. A little bit more of that might help Alex, idk. I like his drafts and his ability to handle a roster throughout the season. He’d be harder to replace than ppl think
@BravesStash Alex is incredible at what he does well, but it does seem his missing a little bit of crazy when it comes to taking his shot. It’s cliche, but there is some truth to that and being a good deal-closer. He casts such a wide net I wonder if traction can be made in any specific area?
