Wingstop is going cashless. Not every location yet, but more and more of them.
Some spots straight up will not take your cash anymore. Card or app only. No exceptions. One customer in North Carolina said they tried to pay with ones and fives and got turned away completely.
And look, people have been saying for years that there’s a push toward a fully cashless society. Banks want it. Corporations want it. Every transaction tracked, every purchase logged, no more just handing someone a $20 and walking away with your food.
Every time a company drops cash and goes app-only “for convenience,” it doesn’t calm those concerns down. It does the opposite. It makes people wonder what’s really driving this. 🤔
Maybe it really is just about speed and efficiency. But when your local chicken spot won’t take real American currency anymore, you can’t blame people for asking questions.
@ForestParkPharm@elonmusk what do you think about health insurances easy profit on the back of working people compared with your companies hard working earnings?
An insurance company just posted a record quarter, told everyone how they pulled it off, and somehow nobody flinched.
Cigna reported about $1.7 billion in profit for the second quarter, up more than 8 percent, on $71.7 billion in revenue in just three months. Then they raised their outlook for the rest of the year.
So what drove it? Their own report points to employer-sponsored plans, the coverage most working Americans get through their jobs, after those plans raised premiums. Read that slowly. The engine of the record quarter was charging employers more.
That premium is not some separate pot of company money. Employer health coverage is counted as part of your total compensation. It is money your employer sets aside for you, that you never see, that goes straight to an insurer instead of your bank account. So when the premium goes up, that is your raise being rerouted before it reaches you. And this is not theoretical: this year average family premiums rose about 6 percent while wages rose closer to 4. The gap between those two numbers is money that left your paycheck and showed up in quarters like this one.
To explain why costs keep climbing, Cigna needed a villain, and they picked the No Surprises Act, the law that shields patients from surprise out-of-network bills. Their CEO called billions moving through its dispute process wasteful or abusive. And the strange thing is, he has a point. That process is genuinely being gamed, largely by private-equity-backed provider groups filing disputes at massive scale. Federal data shows providers start the overwhelming majority of these fights.
But step back and look at the whole board. The insurer blames the loophole. The loophole players blame the insurer. Hospitals blame both. Everyone in this system has a finger pointed at someone else, and every one of those fingers is attached to a hand that is quietly reaching into the same wallet. Yours. No matter who is "at fault" in a given quarter, the bill has one permanent destination.
I am not holding my breath for these companies to fix this on a conference call. The fix already exists, and it is boring: cut out the middleman entirely. No spread, no rebate games, no inflated sticker to negotiate down. Just what your medication actually costs, plus an honest markup.
Head to https://t.co/PWTHuNrAlM, run your prescriptions through our price checker, and transfer today to save. Then send it to your boss, because your company is spending your money, and there is a cheaper, more honest place to spend it.
See ya.

-250 Miles a day?? Even NY taxis do not drive it. 200 miles is already optimistic.
Then, you can estimate between 7-9k profit a year
The 2026 FIFA World Cup was the largest sporting event in the history of the world, shattering previous attendance record by double digits. America- we got it done, ZERO major security incidents across our nation while we hosted the equivalent of 78 super bowls in 38 days, along with 40 base camps, endless fan zones, and celebrations in nearly every state.
President Trump promised his administration would deliver the most safe, secure, and fun environment for FIFA. He started by establishing the White
House FIFA Task Force some 16 months ago, and we got right to work.
This FBI led the charge dedicating nearly 5,000 personnel to the effort out of HQ, field, and international offices - across 16 host cities. And, none of what we accomplished is possible without our federal, state and local partners who all put in the same relentless effort. It’s the largest resource dedication the FBI has EVER made for a any event.
This FBI stood up a Joint Ops Center, International Police Coordination Center, Intelligence Coordination Center, and more - all from scratch- to collect and share intel in live time.
We established the first ever counter-UAS drone school, training members of law enforcement from across the country for the World Cup- we seized over 700 drones near FIFA airspace.
Whether it was UFC 250, SAIL 250, State Fair 250 or so many other events happening simultaneously- we DELIVERED the safest and most secure World Cup in history.
President Trump's leadership set the course, he led the way, and this FBI and our partners rose to the challenge- thanks to all our partners, @FIFA@DHSgov@WHTaskForceFIFA and their Director Andrew Giuliani.
@Viora_Tech_Ai I had almost all those recommended settings this expert says and still the range on my Tesla Y AWD long range is <230 miles with100%😳😭
The only clear win of Argentina in this World Cup was today against England 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻. They have the stamina to overcome there odds!
BUT its wins against Cape Verde and Egypt were fishy, at least.
“Fui marxista, sí. Pero esa teoría nunca fue puesta realmente a prueba. El test es muy simple: si los ricos mantienen pobres a los pobres, entonces los países con más multimillonarios deberían tener también más pobreza. Sin embargo, al comparar los datos, Estados Unidos tiene más multimillonarios que África y Oriente Medio juntos, y aun así el nivel de vida de los pobres en Estados Unidos es más alto que el de la población de esas regiones. Por ese simple criterio, la teoría no se sostiene.”

.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense.
SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world.
Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere.
SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity.
Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help.
The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist.
Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives.
Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation.
Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears.
Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction.
We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.
