@krassenstein Iran called Trump’s bluff. The US could not risk Iran retaliating against US assets and allies— and Trump was probably pressured by ally leaders in the region— forcing his hand. He couldn’t just back out of that huge threat without seeming weak, so making this convenient excuse.

The SAVE Act is just another attempt to sew distrust in the voting process. How about we fully secure our elections by having all citizens auto-enrolled to vote once they are of age, registration can be updated online or in person, and a photo ID is required when voting— simple.
