June is National #CancerSurvivorMonth & #ALKPositive Awareness Month.
When Emily Venanzi was diagnosed with metastatic ALK+ lung cancer in 2017, years of scientific discovery had already paved the way for targeted therapies that changed the course of her disease.
Today, Emily is helping drive the next generation of progress. As an advocate, scientist, and supporter of Break Through Cancer's PoweRD 2 Cure ALK+ Lung Cancer TeamLab, she and along with her husband, Patrick, are working to accelerate research for patients facing ALK+ lung cancer.

On this #WorldBrainTumorDay are celebrating the researchers building that map and the patients who made that science possible. This TeamLab is working tirelessly to change the outlook for all patient with #GBM
Breakthroughs happen faster when researchers work together.
Proud to have the @TuftsUniversity veterinarian-scientists as part of the Defying Osteosarcoma TeamLab, uniting experts across institutions and disciplines to accelerate progress against this devastating disease.
#RadicalCollaboration #Osteosarcoma
Tufts veterinarian-scientists join @break_cancerโs Defying Osteosarcoma TeamLabโthe largest unified effort to study the diseaseโas part of a national effort to speed cures for osteosarcoma in people and pets.

The work is far from finished. As excitement builds, researchers are already focused on the next questions: how to achieve more durable responses and understand resistance to help further improve outcomes for patientsโquestions at the heart of our collaborative daraxonrasib study with Revolution Medicines, which is designed to understand not just whether this therapy works, but how and why it works in patients.

That was how Tyler Jacks, PhD described the recent progress in KRAS-targeted therapies for pancreatic cancer to @Carolynyjohnson of the @washingtonpost.
This weekend at American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), that momentum was on full display as Brian Wolpin presented @RevMedicines Phase 3 daraxonrasib results to a standing ovation.

For decades, pancreatic cancer has remained one of the most difficult cancers to treat. These results represent an important milestone for patients and families, and for the scientists, clinicians, and trial participants who helped make them possible.

Minimal residual disease remains one of the biggest challenges in #OvarianCancer.
At #ASCO2026, Dr Helen Clark (@hdaifotisclark) from our Targeting MRD in Ovarian Cancer TeamLab presents work evaluating how ctDNA may enhance detection of high-risk minimal residual disease.
Advancing tools to identify residual disease and recurrence earlier is an important step toward more precise intervention and improved outcomes for patients.
The overall survival curves for Daraxonrasib in 2nd line advanced #PancreaticCancer leave no doubt how impactful this advance is for the field & for patients. Congratulations Brian Wolpin, @EileenMOReilly & @md_oberstein et al.
A seminal #ASCO26 plenary!

Important moment for #PancreaticCancer at today's #ASCO2026 plenary
Dr. Brian Wolpin presents final analysis from the Phase 3 RASolute 302 study evaluating daraxonrasib, a RAS(ON) multi-selective inhibitor, in previously treated metastatic PDAC.
These results mark meaningful progress for RAS-targeted therapy in pancreatic cancer and build on growing momentum across the field. Weโre encouraged to see continued advances from @RevMedicines working to improve outcomes for patients.
Few targets have required more persistence than #KRAS.
At #ASCO2026, the @AACR / @ASCO joint session, The KRAS JourneyโPerseverance Pays Off, brings together leaders from across the field to reflect on decades of discovery and the advances now reaching patients.
Looking forward to hearing from Dr. Eileen O'Reilly on what comes next for the field
. #ASCO2026 kicks off today.
Itโs always exciting when the cancer research community comes together to share new science, challenge ideas, and learn from one another.
We look forward to following the advances emerging from this yearโs meeting.
This week, members of the Accelerating #Glioblastoma Therapies Through Serial Biopsies TeamLab are gathering in person to dive into the data from their ongoing study.
Across two days, researchers will layout data from clinical outcomes and blood-based biomarkers to tumor evolution, immune response, spatial biology, and metabolomics. Data that will shape the next wave of publications to move these insights into the #CancerResearch community.
This is #RadicalCollaboration.
#BrainCancerAwarenessMonth
Taking the stage at 12.40 @bioitworld today:
โRadical Collaboration in Cancer Science: Building a Shared Platform for Cross-Institutional Discoveryโ
Break Through Cancerโs very own Michael Noble and Jon Grabenstatter will discuss how our radical collaboration model and investment in shared data science infrastructure is enabling cross-institutional discovery across the deadliest cancers.
#BioITWorld #BioITExpo #CancerResearch #DataScience #PrecisionMedicine
This #ClinicalTrialsDay, we are grateful to the patients and families who make progress in #CancerResearch possible.
Over the past five years, our clinical trials and research studies have reached hundreds of patients.
Together, these efforts are helping researchers better understand how cancers respond, evolve, and recur across #Glioblastoma, #AML, #PancreaticCancer, and #OvarianCancer.
Every patient who participates in research helps move the field forward and brings us closer to cures.
Watch @ABCNewsLive report on a pill showing promise in treating metastatic pancreatic cancer. @DanaFarber is leading research in this area, and @BHuffmanMD details his experience enrolling patients in these clinical trials.
