i noticed something when i was dating;
bavk then, i told my woman i was financially handicapped and she gradually stopped visiting, stopped reaching out and stopped checking up on me. & at the same time, something else obviously happened; i noticed my expenses nosedived, my savings skyrocketed and my financial situation became clearer and stronger, tho i was never handicapped
this taught me a simple truth that the pressure you think you need is actually the leakage you don’t need.

Sad news as Mariama reportedly passed away from a heart attack during Hajj. She traveled to Mecca with her husband to fulfill the holy pilgrimage and was laid to rest the same day, Sunday.
May Allah forgive her shortcomings, accept her Hajj, and grant her Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen 🤲

Ibn al-Qayyim said:
“Watermelon has a cleansing effect. It passes from the stomach faster than cucumber and gourd.
It should be eaten before food, and if it is eaten after food, it should be followed by something else; otherwise it may cause nausea and vomiting.
Some doctors have said that eating it before meals washes the stomach thoroughly and removes disease from its root.”

At first, transparent water tanks sound like a brilliant idea.
You’d instantly see how much water is left, monitor usage easily, detect dirt faster, and never have to climb up to check levels again.
So why aren’t most water tanks transparent?
Because the moment you make a tank transparent, you create a new problem:
Sunlight.
Water tanks are usually stored outdoors, exposed to heat and UV radiation for years. If sunlight passes through the walls easily, algae and microorganisms begin to grow inside the tank much faster. The water may start looking green, develop odors, or become unsafe over time.
That’s why many tanks are black, dark blue, or opaque.
Those materials block sunlight and reduce biological growth inside the tank.
There’s also the durability issue. Transparent plastics often weaken faster under constant UV exposure. Over time they become brittle, cloudy, yellowish, or crack more easily compared to heavily pigmented tanks designed for outdoor conditions.
Ironically, making the tank easier to “see through” can make the water quality worse.
That said, some modern tanks partially solve this problem by adding:
small transparent level indicators
external water level gauges
float monitoring systems
smart sensors connected to mobile apps
Brother Amin Abdullah was the guard at the mosque in San Diego for years. He was instrumental in stopping the shooters from reaching the children today. This was his final post on FB. On these holiest days, may Allah have mercy on him and accept him as a martyr. Ameen

Ah massa your life doesn’t end because you’re in your 30s without a degree. Some people discover direction at 40, 50 or even later so stop measuring your journey against people who had different opportunities, support systems and timelines.
A survival mode job may pay the bills, but don’t let it become your identity. Learn something valuable. Build a skill people will pay for, speak well, network intentionally, be reliable and show up consistently.
Also, stop thinking success only comes through a university degree anka by now me two masters no me de te Luxembourg. The world has changed. There are people making a good living through trades, tech, sales, content creation, digital services, business and entrepreneurship without degrees.
Most importantly, don’t sit around waiting for motivation. Small daily action changes lives more than panic and self pity ever will.
You’re not behind in life. You’re just uncomfortable and tired. There’s a huuuuuuuge difference between the two.
