Zimbabwean flamboyant businessman Wicknell Chivayo, who died in a helicopter crash alongside his wife, Lucy Muteke, two pilots and an aide, will be buried at Glen Forest Cemetery on Thursday.
Wicknell Chivayo was declared a provincial hero by his political ally, Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
There is no sane and informed Zimbabwean who would doubt that Zimbabwe would be different if Mugabe and Mnangagwa’s ZANUPF had not looted and plundered the country.
Zimbabwe has enough resources that could have created a modern country and businesses like the ones you see in these pictures.
We need to figure out how to make rural folk, and even those in cities, visualize this in order to give them the drive to fight for a better country.
Zimbabwe’s corrupt regime has stolen the potential of this nation for years.
Imagine the possibilities if those resources had been invested in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and the people of Zimbabwe.
It is important to reach those in rural areas, where information is limited and people are most vulnerable to the regime’s manipulative propaganda.
They need to see what could have been and what could still be if they fight for a better future.
They need to understand how quality jobs could be created, as it happens in South Africa, where most of our youth now live and work.
Why wouldn’t this inspire any patriot, why would you fight this, why would you loot and plunder and deny a whole country this?
The sad reality is that the powers that be in Zimbabwe are more concerned with lining their pockets than building their country. They have made patriotism and national pride virtually impossible by prioritising their own greed over the needs of their people.
It is time for those that never thought of getting into politics to reconsider otherwise it would take decades to save this beautiful but thoroughly battered country!
Look at how South Africans put their country ahead of narrow interests when they had a hung parliament!
This is an appreciation post, I have learned from a distance on how to retweet and contribute in conversations from @LynneStactia. It helped me grow organically & now 3 days ago she organized a follow train and a Twitter community for CCC, I am now 2 steps to big accounts. Thanks
ZANUPF MP Joseph Chinotimba accused President Mnangagwa of imposing a parliamentary candidate in his constituency.
In a speech where he abused the Bible, Chinotimba said his opponent can’t represent Buhera because he is young.
He acknowledged the violence against rural people.
In its growth trajectory, Africa certainly needs partners…. Those partners also have their own interests in Africa, it’s a matter of choosing the better partner… Historically, the West’s approach to Africa has been consistent: Keeping Africa underdeveloped. China is BETTER!
