Focused on trying to reduce the amount of litter in Brede to achieve a cleaner village, safer environment and to protect the wildlife | All views my own
During January and early February I didn’t go litter picking, as Covid-19 cases were so high and I felt it unsafe to do so. As cases are at a safer level, I have started to go out weekly again - I will be wearing a mask and gloves and will dispose of the rubbish carefully😊
Over the last year, outdoor spaces and places have mattered to us more than ever. 🌼 This spring join us for the #GBSpringClean and show some love for those special places that helped us though lockdown...

Some photos from another recent litter pick. There were especially a lot of takeaway cups, bottles and plastic food containers on Brede Hill, dropped by passing cars- please take your rubbish home rather than spoiling the paths and countryside!
Photos from another litter pick - lots was collected including at least 2 face masks and a packet from last October. It was disappointing though to walk back past a spot I had just covered to see new litter, so please don’t drop it but take it home!🌿#Litter
A really chilly day yesterday whilst I did a litter pick but it was great not to see that much rubbish out, so it didn’t take very long! It was good to get out in the fresh air.
