I wonder if Xur's inventory this week is intentional?
If you read the flavor texts of the exotics and catalysts featured this week (minus Hawkmoon as it's always here), the message is something like:
"Our tools were shoddy, but we made it work (Arbalest). Now, have joy, and sing one last time (Riskrunner). Despite the treachery, the game still stood (Queenbreaker's); and, though we were limited despite having so many great ideas (Borealis), we have hope that the game will live again (Heir Apparent)."
With a little imagination, the legendaries can be read in a similar way (though there is more emphasis on the actual weapon names):
"This is the Nature of the Beast: A Deadpan Delivery when we were eager (flavor text on Seventh Seraph Saw) to keep pushing when the game was doing well. Farewell, we were Duty Bound to be the First in and the Last out. Now, take your place among the company of heroes (Berenger's Memory flavor text) as we face the Abyssal Edge."
Just the message for easier reading:
"Our tools were shoddy, but we made it work. Now, have joy, and sing one last time. Despite the treachery, the game still stood; and, though we were limited despite having so many great ideas, we have hope that the game will live again. This, though, is the Nature of the Beast: A Deadpan Delivery when we were eager to keep pushing when the game was doing well. Farewell, we were Duty Bound to be the First in and the Last out. Now, take your place among the company of heroes as we face the Abyssal Edge."
This is 100% schizoposting, but it was a fun project to take my mind off the impending doom for like 15 minutes.
@Isaac61136550@alovillarreal__@2MKJ7 Since you can clearly Google but don't have the capacity for these words I'll type it for you. "Is the Louisiana State University Laboratory School ("U-High") in Baton Rouge a public, state-run school?"
After Devin Booker recently called out the officials for giving OKC a soft whistle, Lou Williams asked Pelicans analyst Antonio Daniels for his thoughts. Daniels tells the referees to just be fair: Alex Caruso, Cason Wallace, and Lu Dort can be physical with teams, but they can’t
Rashad McCants says the same ref that gave Devin Booker the technical was wearing SGA sneakers:
“He has the ones you can’t even order online. He got the ones you can’t even order… James need to go ahead and stop the bullsh*t, James out there bullsh*tting.”

I had to put this all in one video to make it even clearer — The NBA has an OKC Thunder problem.
The fans know it, broadcasters know it. THEY know they’re favored. When EVERYONE complains about ONE team, it’s serious. It’s not just SGA, he’s just the head of the snake.
I’m not a “blame the refs” type, never have been. I actually hate when players focus too much on that. But this just makes for an unbearable product.
The Thunder are EXTREMELY good. They don’t need extra help. They don’t need to be rewarded for their antics. A lot of it is an affront to the game. The physicality they play with needs to be allowed both ways or not at all.
This is all from one game, but it’s every night against them. It looks and feels blatant. This isn’t basketball. The NBA needs to fix this.
Every single team and fanbase that plays that team in the playoffs has a meltdown over the officiating but apparently we’re all just coping and blindly hating
