@The4Prov Pubs are closing at a phenomenal rate,there's a lot of contributing factors but definitely one of Europe's highest Vat rates at 23% doesn't help

Hospitality is struggling across the board,be it hotels,restaurants and pubs. There has been a massive lobby for years now to reduce the Vat from 13.5% to 9% in food led businesses.
Small gripe maybe but what about the drinks only ones,with all the same overheads paying 23%?
