Hey.
I've been silent on the twitters for a while now. Probably bc this is a useless hellsite that has gotten worse and worse over time.
Go follow on Insta. I'm done here.

The Nova Scotia government is doing nothing to address the fixed-term lease loophole. The Premier said creating an RTA enforcement unit is a "bad idea" in the house yesterday. But they're cool with shortening eviction timelines! Latest from me: https://t.co/9WpE90DO8a
Paul Sheppard’s students asked me to look into his past, believing there was more to be uncovered about his life.
They were right.
Before he was a teacher, Sheppard was a cop. One who was fired for abusing children.
The sentencing court had no idea.

Hi folks, national awarding winning journalist here now out of work. (Terminated by Post Media due to the SaltWire sale.) Any leads you may have in research, communication, etc. are so appreciated. Thanks to all whose stories I told or who read my stories.
On Aug. 31, International Overdose Awareness Day, my son Jacob & I are releasing our film project: NO FAMILY IS IMMUNE. It tells the story of my son Justin who died after a 7-year battle with addiction. He was 21.
Justin always wanted his experience to help others. We are being his voice.

There are several moments from media I've consumed that make me instantly tear up. That one Celes scene from FF6. The second-last episode of Bojack. Rab's trial in DQ11.
One Piece has over a dozen of those moments for me. Just reading it turns me into a big ol' sprinkler.
Nice to see @chronicleherald take a right-wing turn before the Postmedia takeover. This is fucking abominable.
I'd love for Gale to explain what the city can do about unhoused people right now, because rhetoric like this suggests you just want these folks to magically disappear
Encampments DO pose a threat to public safety as those staying in tents are part of the public & living outside is unsafe. This attempt to dehumanize community members living w/out housing, food security, health care etc. is infuriating. We will have more to say on this #halifax
@mikeyhatesit@FridayInHalifax I definitely enjoy the first one, but the other entries really lost the plot with the "lol so random"-ness of it all imo.
The coolest thing about Borderlands is exactly that—it brought non-FPS players into the genre with some decent RPG mechanics and loot.
Hilarious fundraising email when you consider that Pierre Poilievre has been rallying across the country for, like, months!
And, uh, "personal propaganda outlet"??
Relentless pursuit of power and not giving a shit what you tear down along the way, eh? Cool.
