3. Screaming and putting cameras in the face of an already volatile office does not help de-escalate a situation. I understand recording from a distance but we have to be level headed and stop making situations worse.
2. I understand the fear, but when being approached by an officer, we need to just lay down. The time for reasoning is not in that moment. I promise, there are plenty of stories that would love to take your case if you are unjustly apprehended. cont.
Ok, three observations from yet another tragic incident.
1. These officers have got to get their emotions and actions in check. Unfortunately, I do not think defunding promotes further training and policies to eradicate those capable of this behavior. cont.
I don’t know the answers, but obviously what we are doing is not working. Violence and fear is not the answer, we have to find our resolution in grace, love and humility.
