A year ago, the IPC report determined that Gaza was facing a famine. Senior UN officials immediately backed the findings, and the UN’s humanitarian chief, Tom Fletcher, even called the evidence “irrefutable.”

Now, new UNICEF data paints a completely different picture.

A new UNICEF report paints an entirely different picture of Gaza than the false narrative the UN has pushed for years.

The report indicates that acute malnutrition among children in Gaza is only 0.5%. It also finds no widespread acute malnutrition at the population level.

A year after the declaration of famine in Gaza, the new numbers raise serious questions about the UN’s ability to distinguish facts from propaganda.

A few days ago, @UNICEF published a report determining that acute malnutrition rates in Gaza are as low as 0.2%–0.8%. The report notes that this rate reflects greater stability than in many other countries in the region.

These findings align with the humanitarian report that we in COGAT published several weeks ago, which determined that the volume of food entering the Gaza Strip during the ceasefire significantly exceeded humanitarian needs.

Since the start of the ceasefire, over 2 million tons of food have entered Gaza.
This massive influx has led to:

📉 A sharp drop in food prices.
🥗 Greater dietary diversity in local markets.
🍞 Dozens of active bakeries and community kitchens.

COGAT’s coordination efforts, in cooperation with the international community, have maintained a stable food situation in Gaza.

The data speaks for itself.
Backed by hard facts, it is clear that the steady flow of aid is meeting and exceeding humanitarian needs, securing long-term stability on the ground.

Read the entire thread. The complicity in the massacre of over 1200 including 46 Americans murdered & 8 of 251 hostages were US citizens. And some of the supposed “good guy” Palestinians were Hamas fighters.
