Not great at self-publicity but going to give it a go. The book I co-authored is The HTML and CSS Workshop and is available as a practical workshop from https://t.co/o6QVps1X4N. @PacktPub
@donnavitan Design tokens are there to communicate design decisions across an organisation, products and technologies.
Variables are product and technology specific and can store data that changes often - per user, per request.

@mmatuzo I'm not sure I see the benefits. Doesn't this make it more difficult to differentiate between css custom properties and css keywords? Plus, yet another build tool. Skipping this one until every job description asks for 5 years experience with it.
I've been rather anti-web3 up until now. Mostly because it seemed pointless and an Earth killer. Should I reconsider now that @ethereum has done this merge thing?
Hey folks, I have a friend who's design systems team literally just got laid off. They're a seasoned design lead with a high bar for craft and I wouldn't recommend them if they weren't ✨high quality✨
Who's design systems teams are hiring? Appreciate it!
@danmall Nathan Curtis coined the principle "favor community over control".
I'd like to learn about building that community. What does it mean for a central design system team? What does it mean for a business that might like the idea of control?
