Like him or not, when Kennett was Vic Premier he was the only politician in the country that called her out on policy.

From cricket, swimming and of course football his was the voice of a generation; as was Benaud was for cricket. And as was the case when Richie passed, this is enormously sad. For me, the call of Perkins 1500m win in 1996 was the standout. Too many footy calls to single out one.
