Most people don't fail.
They restart.
New business.
New course.
New niche.
Repeat.
I'm building this account to share what actually works when you stop chasing everything and start building something that lasts.
Build with me.
Shiny Object Syndrome is the silent killer in crypto & business.
Rule: Treat your attention like capital.
Ask — will this matter in 5 years? Most won’t.
Tired of starting over?
Reply with your biggest distraction right now."
Simple rule I now use:
Before quitting or pivoting, ask:
“Will this still matter in 5 years?”
If yes, give it the time it deserves.
Finish what compounds.
What’s one project you’re recommitting to this month?

Most people quietly kill their own success.
They don’t fail because of bad ideas.
They fail because they abandon good ones before compounding can work.
I’ve done it too many times. Here’s what I finally learned 🧵
Compounding doesn’t just reward patience — it requires it.
The math is brutal:
Most real wealth in business and crypto comes from years 3–7.
Yet the average founder or investor quits around month 18–24 when progress feels slow.
@thedankoe Attention isn't the problem.
Attention isn't the problem.
Most people just don't have a goal they're excited enough to chase.
Without a clear target, every new opportunity looks like the answer.
That's how Shiny Object Syndrome takes over.
@naval The internet massively broadened careers. Most haven’t figured it out.
Even fewer have figured out how to avoid Shiny Object Syndrome in that expanded universe.
Opportunity overload leads to scattered execution. Depth still beats breadth.
Weird thought...
We've spent the last 20 years learning how to market to humans.
I wonder how long it'll be before businesses start asking:
"How do we market to AI?"
Here is something I wish I would have learned sooner.
The biggest obstacle to building wealth isn't a lack of opportunity—it's abandoning opportunities before they have time to compound.
I can't tell you how many times I have abandoned a project way too soon!
Anybody agree?
Five years ago people asked:
"Will crypto survive?"
Today the better question is:
"Which parts of traditional finance eventually move on-chain?"
I spend a lot more time watching adoption than price.
Most people spend years trying to increase their income.
Builders spend years increasing their ownership.
Income pays the bills.
Ownership changes your future.
The internet rewarded people for building audiences.
The next decade will reward people for building assets.
An audience can disappear overnight.
An asset keeps working while you sleep.
Build both.
Some bitcoin miners are realizing they may be sitting on something more valuable than bitcoin mining:
Power.
Land.
Cooling.
Data-center infrastructure.
The smartest businesses don’t just ask:
“What do we sell?”
They ask:
“What valuable assets have we already built?”
For 20 years, businesses asked:
“How do we rank on Google?”
The next question is:
“How do we become the answer AI recommends?”
SEO isn’t disappearing overnight.
But discovery is changing, and businesses that wait for the shift to become obvious will already be behind.
Everyone is focused on what AI can create.
The biggest companies are focused on what AI requires:
Compute.
Energy.
Infrastructure.
Distribution.
The biggest opportunities are often one layer beneath the trend everyone else is chasing.
