My birth town. Not a lot of people know that!! Had a fantastic day yesterday. Many Thanks to Andy for all the sterling work he is doing in Ashton-under-lyne
"Ireland refusing to play Israel would not end the suffering in Gaza.
But it would be a statement...heard far and wide that Irish football will not pretend that this is the normality when it’s really a catastrophe.
Do not play the games."

New figures show Reform raked in £9m in 3 months, with Farage still in the hotseat for his £5m "gift" from billionaire Chris Harborne.
£4m came from billionaire Ben Delo, who was convicted for facilitating money laundering in the US, but pardoned by Trump.

Good news in case you missed it.
Figures soon to be released will show that Makerfield’s air quality is now meeting legal standards.
So no Clean Air Zone - not now, not ever!
“I’m proud of what we’re delivering. Fastest growing economy in the G7. UK growth is up and inflation is down. Net migration down by a staggering 82%. The asylum backlog down by 46%. The fastest reduction of waiting times in the history of the NHS. Free school meals, breakfast clubs and free child care and we’re lifting half a million children out of poverty”

Hi @RobKenyonReform, Ashton Library was already saved thanks to the Labour MP Josh Simons (you might of heard of him) and Councillors.
Being that you’ve not bothered to even sign the paperwork for being a councillor, let alone attending your first meeting, it’s no surprise you aren’t up on local issues.
I managed to stand in the middle of a field to do an attention-seeking ‘announcement’ to nobody about the Henry Nowak murder, but I couldn’t be arsed to turn up to hear the Home Secretary’s statement in Parliament, which is my actual job.
Number of people asking me to comment on the Henry Nowak case. His father said "We do not want his death to be used to create further division, hatred or tension". If you can't respect his wishes, you're scum. That's what I think.
Not a Labour Party member, but this is not bad in less than 2 years. Suggest Labour MPs, party members and wannabe leaders get a grip and do their stuff.
