I left California in 2018 and moved back in May. Days after requesting a driver's license renewal with the DMV and selecting 'update my voter registration' I was sent a mail-in ballot with no proof of residency. I had to provide the DMV proof of residency to get my DL AFTER I had already voted. I can prove this. They are sending ballots to anyone who requests one. The chance of fraud is 100%.
Ask them why they send a ballot to anyone who requests one. I moved back to California on May 4 and got a mail-in ballot days after requesting a driver's license renewal with the DMV. I voted BEFORE my appointment with the DMV where I was required to show proof of residency. How is that secure?
I was registered to vote in Florida. Moved back to California (after leaving in 2018) on May 4 and selected 'update my voter registration' when I requested a driver's license renewal on the DMV web site. I was immediately sent a mail-in ballot. No proof of residency whatsoever. I had my DMV appointment on election day, where I was required to present two documents to prove I was a resident. But I had already voted. The chance of fraud is 100%
I just moved to a small town in northern California a month ago. I tried to vote in person and they said they've only had mail-in ballots since 2007. I got my ballot without any proof of residency. Just for requesting a driver's license appointment with the DMV. I had to show them proof of residency AFTER I already voted. The chance of fraud is 100%.
I returned to California a month ago after leaving in 2018. I was sent a mail in ballot without any proof of residency. All I did is fill out my driver license renewal with the DMW online. The same day I voted I had my in person appointment where I had to prove my residency with two forms of proof.
@Lestan21@GuntherEagleman I moved back after 7 years. How would they have it on file? I had to show two forms of proof at the DMV to get my license. That was after I voted.
@Hunter_Eagleman I moved back to California a month ago (left in 2018). I filled out an online request to renew my driver's license and update my voter registration, and received a mail-in ballot within a few days. Without providing any proof of residency. So yeah...
@BuzzPatterson@ChadBianco I wanted to vote for Chad Bianco but I 'did the right thing' in your words and voted for Steve Hilton. Do you think I was the only one?
@Milajoy I just moved back to California (left in 2018) a few weeks ago, and was sent a mail-in ballot within days of requesting a driver license renewal with the DMV - before providing any real proof of residency. Seems fishy to me.
