English BA. I just like stories. “In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity.” Barry Allen and Hal Jordan deserve the world. ✞✡︎
@dccomicconsumer Barry Allen. I like how calm he is, how he’s a nerd, how being a hero and helping others makes him so happy. The way he always looks at things analytically/scientifically, yet never forgets the human element. How he truly always hopes for/sees the best in others. I love him <3
thinking about how kara immediately flew to ruthye when she screamed for her and had NO hesitation. her pulling her chair away from the creep too.
she didn’t play around for that little girl. 😭
like…you mean she’ll carry me in her strong arms and hold me close ?
Went to see Supergirl again but with family this time (who obviously haven't read the comic) and much to my surprise, they actually liked it a lot.
They're now intent on seeing Man of Tomorrow because I mentioned she'd be in it as well.
REVIEW : JUST WATCHED SUPERGIRL 👀
Yeah, she’d absolutely roast me for my life choices.
Supergirl is basically what happens when a cosmic headache learns to fly and looks fabulous doing it.
She’s powerful, sarcastic, and gloriously messy in a way that makes her feel less like a polished idol and more like the cool cousin who shows up late, saves the universe, and still steals the best lines.
What works is that she’s not trying to be perfect; she’s trying to be real, which somehow makes the cape even cooler.
She can crash through a crisis, crack a joke, and then somehow make emotional vulnerability look like a superpower.
In short, Supergirl is proof that you can be fierce, funny, and slightly chaotic — and still be the most heroic person in the room.
