After 1.5 years, I've finally caught a cold...Which should be no big. But as someone with #ChronicIllness, I avoid getting "muggle" sick at all costs. I don't just get the cold, but a flare up of any and all of my chronic symptoms...

It's hard to tell when I'm getting muggle sick, as most viruses start out like my every day symptoms (congestion, fatigue, dizziness, stomach issues). So if I do get sick, I don't realize it until much too late.

The important thing is not to avoid dropping balls.

The important thing is making sure no ball is on the ground for /too/ long.

PSA for non-science folks: Wonder why everyone is emphasizing hand washing? Sounds banal, but soap really IS an amazing weapon that we all have in our homes. This is because coronavirus is an "enveloped" virus, which means that it has an outer lipid membrane layer.
