Should’ve left when god was exposing things I didn’t want to believe it
I sat in that relationship holding on to a little hope until it ran out I’ll never disturb myself in that way again damn near 3 years down the drain literally I’m tapped !
I don’t want a man who indiscriminately consumes women online. If anything that’ll talk back gets your attention, that’s not attraction, that’s validation seeking. I pray God keeps me far away from that type.
When someone is really chosen by God you'll know it by the way they go through hell, lose people, lose possessions, face unbelievable storms and somehow come back stronger, resilient, full of joy and laughter even! That kind of strength isn't natural. It's supernatural. Divine.
I don't go back to people who tried to destroy me on purpose. Family, friends, anybody. Once you cross that line, it's over. Hurting someone on purpose isn't an accident, it's a decision. And once you show me your true colors, I can't pretend I didn't see them. I forgive for my own peace but your access to me is gone forever.
It’s choosing to regulate before I respond.
To pray before I react.
To seek understanding before assuming.
To let peace lead instead of impulse.
I’m not trying to become a woman who feels less.
I’m becoming a woman who lets God guide what she does with those feelings.
Growth🤍
One thing I’ve been learning about myself…
Sometimes I don’t respond from my heart I react from a nervous system that’s overwhelmed.
I can literally feel the heat rise in my body. My thoughts race. My emotions get loud.
For a long time, I thought that was just who I was.
Now I’m realizing that feeling deeply and reacting immediately aren’t the same thing.
Scripture says, “Be still, and know that I am God.” (Psalm 46:10)
I’m learning that being still isn’t weakness. It’s wisdom.
You have to train your mind to be stronger than your emotions, or they’ll make decisions your future has to live with.
Feel everything.
Just don’t let every feeling lead you.
Discipline will take you places emotions never could 🤍
