@greggertruck I'm wondering if Cyber Truck ASS is tied into CTs being eventually included in the robotaxi network. Large item delivery and 5 passenger rides are a lucrative slice of the future robotaxi pie.
@JCChristopher My wife's best friend in the world was taken by a distracted driver while out for a jog 2 years ago. It was one of the catalysts for us both to drive with FSD.
@DavidMoss@DevinOlsenn@scotsrule08 Respect for you guys for taking the time and out of pocket expenses to attempt this. The entire community benefits from your efforts and accomplishment.
@jhaverinator@DavidMoss@DevinOlsenn@scotsrule08 David reported it was 10X (an order of magnitude?) more difficult. A few reasons. Longer. Less consistent highways going from limited access (think interstate) directly into controlled interesections in towns. Much more road construction with human flaggers giving directions...
@DavidMoss, @DevinOlsenn, and @Scotsrule08 are proud to announce that we have successfully completed the world’s first Canada coast to coast fully autonomous drive!
We left Horseshoe Bay Terminal in Vancouver. BC 4 days & 21 hours ago, and now have ended in Halifax, NS at the Tesla Showroom
(3,760miles/6,051km)
This was accomplished with Tesla FSD v14.3.3 with absolutely 0 disengagements of any kind even for all parking including at Tesla Superchargers.
@DavidMoss I wish I could be there. I see you just crossed over into New Brunswick. Last time I was there I marvelled at their highway quality. Look for the massive fences to keep the moose off the road. Looks like Jurrasic Park!
@OkieTesla@DevinOlsenn@scotsrule08@Tesla They are showing that a car w/o steering wheel, pedals, turn stalks, can do this. If you are on an extended trip in a robocab, they have to figure out automatic charging. If the passenger has to plug it in, then they can assist getting into the correct charging position.
