CEO The Burmaster International Group (multinational - USA, S.America,Europe+ Arab Middle East chemicals) American chemical engineer (AIChE), former marathoner
While the USA was putting Telegraph Cables from the Atlantic to the Pacific Coast, an American Business Man named Cyrus W. Field dreamed of laying Telegraph Cable from Europe to North America
Field was able to raise capital both in the USA and UK for the Trans-Atlantic Cable
With Morse's Demonstration of the Baltimore to Washington DC Telegraph Line, stations grew like weeds in the USA
In the mid-19th Century, Sending messages via the Telegraph was way faster than the old & established Pony Express
With all disruptive technologies, old ways end
@DrJosefWD Dr. Josef: A more effective way to cure insomnia is adding a little dab of our patented potassium-enriched cream [BIG Relief with +K+ available at Amazon USA] on the back of your neck right before bedtime.
The Cerebrospinal Fluid has 30-40% less potassium than blood serum
Lord Kelvin [Sir William Thomson] greatest engineering achievement was the Trans-Atlantic Telegraph Cable from the British Islands to North America
Samuel Morse worked on the Telegraph and in the USA he is considered as the inventor.
His Code [of dots and dashes] is still used

Good News!
Jesus tells his disciples: "Fear No One ... What is hidden in Darkness, Bring Light... What is Whispered, Proclaim
World Refrigeration Day is Celebrated this Friday [the 26th of June] honoring Lord Kelvin's Discovery of Absolute Zero
His name is also commemorated with the Australian Refrigerator Company: The Kelvinator
I post a table of Liquefied Gases Boiling and Triple Point Temperature
Wm Thomson [Lord Kelvin] made many thermal measurements and then in 1848, based on the Laws of Thermodynamics, computed that there was an Absolute Zero Temperature [-273.15 C]. With the Kelvin scale, there are no Negatives.
178 years later [2026], Absolute Zero is validated
The History of Temperature is Amazing!
In the 18th Century, Fahrenheit was the first to invent a sealed mercury tube and he defined:
T = 32 F is Water's Freezing T
T= 212 F is Water's Boiling T
Celsius used a 100 Degree scale [0C -100C]
Kelvin contribution was vas!
Sir William Thomson [Lord Kelvin] was an aficionado of Isaac Newton and Thomson is buried alongside Newton in London
As any scientifist knows, Isaac Newton discovered Gravity. One earthly phenomenon is the Oceanic Tides.
Wm. Thomson invented a machine that could predict tides
Sir Wm Thomson invented a new compass [US# 210 066]
He boarded a ship headed for the high seas and the Captain threw it on the hard deck and told Wm that it was too dainty and flimsy.
Thomson picked it up and it still worked. He then threw the Captain's compass and broke it!
Wm Thomson taught and wrote many books at the University of Glasgow for most of his scientific career. He is a Giant in the Field of Applied Science, Engineering, Thermodynamics
His contributions were vast in many fields. My next next posts will highlight his accomplishments
@HarryStebbings Matan: I am an American Chemical Engineer and the best sleep is supplementing potassium to your Cerebrospinal Fluid applying a little dab of our patented BIG Relief with +K+ every night

Good News:
Jesus instructs his disciples:
"Proclaim the Word. The Kingdom of Heaven is Near. Cure the sick, cleanse levers.."
St Columba was one of the Monks that emigrated from Ireland and lived at the Iona Abbey in Scotland, converting many to Christianity
St Columba traveled to Loch Ness. A few moments prior, the local Monster ate a Scot for dinner. St. Columba prayed and told the Monster: No More
One of the oldest Catholic Monasteries in Great Britain is located here in Scotland:
The Iona Abbey in 563 AD
Monks from this era were valuable members of the community being learned scholars in Latin, Medicine, Agriculture...
Christianity spread across Europe massively
Saint Theneva [a Scottish Princess] converted the Eastern Part of Scotland near Glasgow to Christianity in the 6th Century
She is also known as Saint Enoch.
The St. Enoch Centre is a BIG shopping mall in downtown Glasgow
@SamaHoole Ike is one of my favorite US President and US Army General whose mission is to defend and uphold our sacred US Constitution from enemies...
I seriously question advice from US MD's. I am 69 y/o and a diet-only approach is extremely foolish. I strongly believe in cardio workouts
St. Ninian was born here in Scotland and became interested in Christianity by Roman Soldiers stationed in Britain. Ninian traveled to Rome, learning Latin, becoming a Christian
He returned to Scotland along with Monks and converted it to Christianity. He is venerated here
Before Scotland was a Kingdom, this country was populated by different families [or Clans]
The Scottish Family Names are commonplace in the USA. Modern DNA analysis pinpoint the origin of these Clans
Rarely, we find Viking DNA [from Scandinavia not the Minnesota NFL Team]
