@martyncann FIRE DRURY!!! Can’t believe this team they burnt to the ground won their second game playing together. That’s why we play the games. Now who has the pathetic fucking comment dumbass?
@MollieeWalkerr I knew going to the comments it would be all Drury hate. Do you all think the goalie coaches were telling him “This kid is ready” and he said no? Obviously there is something they know that we don’t.
@fifthdownnyc This is an objectively horrible take. We get it, you hate Drury. Cool. Explain how Durzi is a “multiple year disaster”. He has 2 years left on a MNTC. Not a No Move Clause. So please explain your position based on actual information. Or are you just another troll?
@mikekantor34899@talkin_rangers I don’t think you can say being the 3rd best LW slowed development. It’s on the player to round out their game. Quinn did that with Buch and he became a PK player and at top wing. Laff got better defensively. Now he’s driving play not waiting. That is development. Not a fail.
@mayer_slomo@talkin_rangers They are the exception that prove the rule. Anderson was a stretch on all draft boards, so was Kravtsov. If they went with the consensus rankings they would have taken Bouchard and Suzuki over Anderson and Kravtsov. That’s the definition of a scouting problem.
@mikekantor34899@talkin_rangers Or, neither Kakko or Laff took their opportunities. Laff finally stopped being a support player when Bread left. Some take longer to develop so just never meet potential. The idea the team doesn’t develop players is a bad premise Gotta draft elite talent first. Then develop them.
@BlueshirtsBreak You could fit the E train in the gap of how you read between the lines of quotes from certain players you have opinions about. Whiskey drinkers = Fuck Fox, “They’re booing again”= “It’s the fans fault”. Or you just don’t like a player so you find what you’re looking for.
@OhRyanMead Can someone actually explain the JT hate? Did I miss something? I know he was hurt and didn’t have a great year but some of the wild level of pure hate seems excessive.
@StatBoy_Steven The regime prior had 8 picks of 47 players that are still in the NHL from 2015 - 2020. That’s a 17% success rate. They had a scouting problem not a development problem.
@BaldPanarin Or, they do trade him for the rights for Zegras, if they win the lottery they can move on from Laff for Robertson. Now you have 94-10-93, Robertson-Zegras-Stenberg/Mckenna, 50-42 Greentree
@BaldPanarin This “development” take is so dumb. The picks mentioned were before Drury aside from Othmann. Game breakers come in the top 5. Only 2 of those were top 5. Everything else the goal is middle 6 or bottom pair D. To early to tell. But looks like Laba developed well.
@RangerF50584124 @PatrickKearns Which moves do you think are horrible? Moving Trouba with no salary retained and getting a serviceable 3rd pair D? Kakko for Borgan? Arguably our 3rd best D. Kreider no salary retained? Just because you don’t see the plan doesn’t mean there isn’t one. 30+ mill in cap space in 26.
