@MajorCopp @briannalyman2 In defense of OP. It's hard. People are kind of hard to engage with history, so i think the idea of AI is to make it feel less "dry." I play games with GROK to see if it can accurately depict historic cannons/ships frequently. TLDR it approximates, it's the best it can do today.

@Johnnymonkey43 @briannalyman2 Sure? Fair. 90% are not well informed enough about period weaponry to know the difference... For those who do this is twitch inducing levels of inaccurate. There is a scene in film "ideocracy" where the "museum" shows dinosaurs in WW2... AI "close enough" gets us there.

@krbaylor618 @briannalyman2 The longer guns would be smaller caliber ... 4 to 24 pounders are 9 to 11 feet long with a 4 to 6 inch ball size... Howitzers and mortars can larger shells, but the barrels are short and squat.. A sense of the sizes can be found here for us nerds :)

@krbaylor618 @briannalyman2 Funny thing is social media is smart enough to match history content to history nerds, but not smart enough to realize AI slop is as as annoying to a subject matter expert as a stubbed toe! Spotted what appeared to be a parade of mons-meg sized bombards then realized AI strikes!

@briannalyman2 There are good number of more accurate public domain paintings of Knox's artillery train. and I'm not asking you change it for nerds like me ... just wanted to share because i like the idea of history content but AI is simply not up to helping us to depict history at this point

@briannalyman2 AI struggles depicting history as it does not understand what a cannon "is" so it's attempting to approximate one based on scraped internet data. Oddly AI can textually describe a 24 pounder very well but will struggle to draw it...

@josefprusa @Prusa3D Use of live chat is kind of bad. 20-40 minute chat waits while I'm busy means i miss the agent a lot and there is no way to "preload" concerns for the agent to react to. Can a text field be added to describe issue so if we miss the agent they can email us?
