@Protect_ServeUK The current response is missing the last part. The skills and the drills are already within the powers and remit of the responding agencies… it’s the reception centres and fast track dealing with passengers that’s missing!

The dingy comparison would require similar Naval intervention with suitable reception centres to safely and securely hold passengers until repatriation.

@Protect_ServeUK I 100% agree with you Oli, to be able to talk the talk you must first literally walk the walk. The accelerated promotion (AP) scheme like the Direct Entry (DE) programme aims to put high achievers into leadership roles but AP candidates do 2yrs probation BEFORE climbing ranks
