This seems to critique a position Heiser didn’t hold. He didn’t argue Yahweh has ontological peers. He argued elohim is a broader biblical category for spiritual beings. Yahweh alone is Creator, sovereign, and worthy of worship. That’s not polytheism.
@1crzyguyMSV I'm beginning to think Heiser started a cult. 😂🤣
Read the piece. What has been caricatured? What did I say was incorrect?

@DrJTPennington WONDERful. I’m not sure I’ve heard a description of hermeneutics that comes closer to what I believe. (And man, do I have a story for you.) When is the book coming out? I couldn’t find it on Amazon.
I'll never get over the fact that in response to 1200+ Jews being raped, murdered, mutilated, and kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists, the world sided not with the victims of those crimes, but with those who committed them.
Please repost - they all work their base into a demented lather by repeating the script they have been given so that vulnerable, easily influenced people end up carrying out murderous acts.
@darrellstetler2 “Preach the gospel, die, and be forgotten.” — From a 1700’s missionary named Nikolaus von Zinzendorf, who ironically is remembered because of this quote. 😛
@darrellstetler2@drantbradley Well done! Nice to meet you, Darrell. We have an aged-out foster youth (young adult now) with autism living with us. I just drove him to a job interview.
I'm convinced the most underutilized physical resource in the Kingdom of God is Christians' homes.
Friends, I happen to have in my possession a brand new extra copy of @jasonstaples excellent *Paul and the Resurrection of Israel* and so I am giving it away here on Twitter!
Follow, like, and RT/QT and I'll randomly draw a winner and post the result on Friday, September 27. 1/
