Is it Christ Whom you love or is it your sin, whatever that sin may be? Does He take first place in your life, ensuring that your natural affections toward sin do not become obstacles to your spiritual obedience?
But heaven measures differently. Jesus Himself—the Lord of lords, the King of Glory—entered not with spectacle, but with meekness. We are called reflect Christ in our lives and we cannot do that by being proud, greedy while ignoring the needs of others.
It is sobering that in a world that is constantly rewarding self, celebrates visibility, and equates worth with recognition, humility feels almost out of place. I believe what makes humility undervalued and often overlooked, is it rarely draws attention to itself. (Proverbs 15:33
@BrianMonzon@BrianMonzon Many will carry on with life as usual, just as in the days of Noah, ignoring God's warnings until it is too late. Christ calls us to be watchful, faithful, and ready for His return. ⛪🙏 #JesusChrist#BibleTruth
I find it rather ironic that many Christians will pray asking God to change their circumstances, their spouse, their children but a very few ever pray asking Him to change them.
This is in stark contrast to those merely passively wait, going about their "normal" daily life, representing the devastating consequences of ignoring His teachings of the Coming Judgment, referred to "as in the days of Noah" who knew not until the flood came.
Hebrews 9:27-28 affirms that true believers in Jesus Christ, live eagerly anticipating His Second Coming. This is where the humble live. Notice, the Greek verb "apekdechomenois" which is used to describe those who eagerly await, laboring to the point of sweat and exhaustion.
This is not merely positive thinking or superficial behavior modification but a daily, Spirit-led shift that transforms the believer from the inside-out, shedding the "old self" — corrupted by deceitful desires — and embracing the "new self," created in God's likeness.
For the Christian, replacing sinful thoughts and behaviors by establishing godly patterns requires renewing the mind, reorienting the mind to think in the right manner.

By continuing to rebelliously live in habitual sin, you may have accepted His offer with your words, but you have effectively denied it with your life, only deceiving yourself.
As with any superficial relationship, a shallow one-sided commitment will only end in disappointed. Genuine salvation requires your willing participation to not only accept God's offer but to turn away from the sin which Christ died to redeem you from.
