Because Christianity teaches both individual and corporate responsibility, both humanity in the image of God and deep sinfulness, the Bible doesn’t promote either simplistic view.
It fully critiques both yet fulfills the best aspirations of each without combining or borrowing from either. It strongly calls for biblical justice but acknowledges the deep complexity of the causes and solutions without being reductionistic.

Anything that violates the will of our Creator for human behavior is by definition de-humanizing. It is dehumanizing to hate, to lie, and to have sex outside of a mutually self-giving life-long covenant. (Many don't believe the Bible gives God's will--but that's another subject.)
