@shiziah303@sillycircuitry Exactly, some people just truly can’t help from headcanoning their political beliefs into the game, it’s genuinely sad honestly.
@Kermit3601@yoshimitsu2nd This is why the use of he/she takes precedent in instantly defining a character’s gender instead of being just as ambiguous as “they/them” which has been done in games since SNES era. The usage of they/them does not instantly indicate anyone as non-binary unless explicitly stated
@Kermit3601@yoshimitsu2nd They/them has meant an unknown/unspecified gender for hundreds of years. The game uses it for Kris and Frisk to signal ambiguity. The use of he/she for others is rooted in history and reality given its usage. Non-binary, however, is a modern label that’s still developing/debated.
@DavyAugustus @_N_1_k_o_@Asmongold@McJuggerNuggets Elderly people are already born and lived through a considerate amount of time in life granting them protections that an unborn fetus could not and does not have.
@Jhonny03660843@PinkPeaches0214@ParadoxCatt2@cloudyweatheryy What you’re forgetting though is that Toby is actively aware of this hyper-theorization of every detail of the game and even plays into it to subvert expectations again and again similar to what happened to majority of the main theories pre ch 3. Surprise is still present each Ch
@TemmieOrSmth99 My personal favorite due it not just being a remix of asgore’s theme but also being closest vibe to Toby’s composition/orchestration. (And the drop at 0:33 is just godly)

@LuneSexto@guinreds Except this is the most succinctly accurate reply to the situation. Of course it’s unfortunate that not every language will be treated with the same level of priority and care, but that is quite simply just life. There are numerous factors in this situation that are being ignored
