Hey, @Walgreens, what's with the absolute lies on this page: https://t.co/EEdERfgPZW??? "We offer compounding services!" Do you? Really? Tried calling the pharmacies that the search offers, and they all have no knowledge of this service. This is bonkers.
@WesternNewYorkr@jkflesh@ByGerrySullivan FYI: They just shut this down for a whole month (May 20th - June 30th). We had tickets, and they "changed our itinerary" to end in Saratoga. Sigh.
@TheNCCourage Are lot E ticket holders supposed to enter via SPD or Trinity? There is conflicting information in the program, website, and e-mail that was sent out.
@MedWhiteAcolyte We (as a society) have executed innocent people. Many times. That's unconscionable. The death penalty is irrevocable, and justice is administered by humans. We are fallible. Period. The ONLY way to ensure we don't execute innocent people, is to execute NO ONE. Full stop.
@MedWhiteAcolyte I'm against the death penalty because the alternative is horrifying, and if you don't think so - you haven't thought it through.
I absolutely believe there are crimes where execution is an appropriate punishment. However...
@QBlockGaming@fullbright If I recall, you could get lucky and avoid it. It was dependent on the pattern of play, how many times you loaded, etc. If it was more reliable, Activision and MS QA would have caught on. Great thing was that cleaning the disc "worked" every time.
@TandemDiabetes FYI: I've been trying to upload data using the t:connect Uploader, and it's giving error messages about being unable to communicate with the server. Happened on two different computers (Mac and PC). Is there a known outage?
We are literally living through the greatest mass delusion ever seen in human history.
If you think covid is over, if you think it isn’t a total humanitarian disaster and an ongoing institutional failure at all levels of society, YOU ARE PART OF THE DELUSION.
@nothings@emad_kz OK, I've only seen a handful of CD videos, but I didn't recognize any of the extra characters. I figured at least some of it was fabricated, but not sure how much. I also really love the part where the Beatles are fictional characters from a fictional universe.
ok never mind it was all worth it just to accidentally stumble across this exchange between a judge, a prosecutor, and a federal agent where only the judge knows who biggie smalls is
the gaslighting of congress and legislatures and white supremacy and capitalism has made it hard for so many of us to see that even our wildest policy dreams are excessively reasonable. It's the status quo that's audacious.
The Democratic Party, which took both chambers and the White House in 2020 promising to pass a law that strengthens collective bargaining, just demolished collective bargaining in one of the few industries that still had it. Quite a legacy.
We don't have to chose between a functioning railroad network & paid sick leave for workers
Rail companies earn billions in profits and can easily afford paid sick leave
Congress can avert a strike by imposing an agreement that includes paid sick leave

I love that the US is dominated entirely by a wholly pointless and parasitic “health insurance” industry that has absolutely no objective reason to exist, cures no one, solves nothing, only rent seeks and creates needless Byzantine hurdles to basic care. This is my favorite part
