A new year, and a new isolation of #BrianJones 'Ruby Tuesday' recorder part: https://t.co/CWjDO63otI
This isolation allows us to hear finer details of the recorder playing, some of which are obscured in the full official mix.

Another 'as played by Brian' purchase. This time it's a near mint 1964 #OscarSchmidt 15A #autoharp, the same model Brian played during late 1965 - spring 1969.
Brian's is shown on the right of the quoted photo.

The 'Take It, Or Leave It' buff stop harpsichord part is often misidentified as being #BrianJones playing a koto. However, all of the December 1965 recordings had already been completed before Brian acquired his koto while on holiday following the sessions.
#TheRollingStones - Take It Or Leave It (isolated): https://t.co/JsmS1beCIJ
Recorded at RCA Victor Recording Studios, Los Angeles, USA. 8th - 10th December 1965.
Isolated line up:
#KeithRichards - acoustic guitar
#JackNitzsche - harpsichord

The harpsichord part features use of the 'buff stop' for most of the track. The buff stop on a harpsichord mutes the strings via felt or leather mutes/string dampers which creates a pizzicato lute or harp like sound.ย
