in a last-ditch effort to save my work studio / our home (of 21 years) by june 7th, i'm asking the comics community: fans, shop owners, & publishers i'd worked w/: @Marvel,@DCOfficial,@DarkHorseComics,@ImageComics for urgent support. rts appreciated. https://t.co/QlD1RThTcD
We knew we had been cancelled when we wrote and recorded our last episode so we decided to spend every last penny and go out big with the most cast members ever crammed into our recording studio while singing gleefully and shedding a tear or two!
@storyenginedeck Rockbuds in The Stormlight Archives- a small piece of flora whose nature completely reinforces the effects of one of the driving forces of the story, the routine but devastating "high storms". The fact that even the humblest plant is fundamentally affected is an awesome detail.
@thesixler I really want to hear this expanded upon in the podcast. I want to hear Kevin's take. I also want to hear an irresponsible, amateur psychoanalysis of him that might lead us to a new understand of Kevin's Deal.
@seanmccoy It's an impossible thing to sell you on reading 21 books worth of material. But I can tell you that if you make it to "book" 3, you'll read through 8, and once you read 8, you'll read the whole damn thing.
So try it out!
I think you'd find a lot in there to fall in love with :)
@seanmccoy I do also believe it is possibly the best superhero story I've ever read. I can't help but compare similar, also good, works against it and find them wanting. The Boys, Invincible, even Top 10. Worm stands with Watchmen as the best study/deconstruction of the genre.
@enzocomics Yeah, matter of fact- forget the D&D and blackjack. Eh, forget the whole thing. Srsly though, no matter what happens, no one can deny that D&D really is its own sort of magic <3
But the comic is missing the most important thing: what about the cat?!?
