Yesterday we led a Community March for Job Protection, Immigration Law Enforcement and Economic Security in #Ekurhuleni, Gauteng.
The people expressed frustration that, despite being qualified and willing to work, they remain unemployed.
Another concern raised was the exclusion of people over the age of 35 from many employment opportunities. As Afrika Mayibuye Youth Movement, we believe that age should not be used to deny people the right to work. If a person is capable and willing to work, they must be given a fair opportunity.
The mandate remains: Total Freedom and Emancipation Now!
Please tune in with us at 12:00 on all Afrika Mayibuye Movement Platforms
We are having an important discussion on hypertension (high blood pressure). It might just be the information you need to preserve life, both of yourself and those around you.

Lastly we wish to remind all members and leaders of Afrika Mayibuye Movement that our movement is based on the following core principles and values:
1. Ubuntu, the philosophy of interconnected humanity that teaches we are because others are, fostering community over individualism;
2. Honesty and respect, as foundational ethics that build trust and honour in all interactions;
3. Sound and superior alternatives, offering practical, innovative solutions superior to current failures;
4. Collective prosperity, ensuring gains benefit the whole society, not just a few;
5. Women economic empowerment, providing resources and opportunities for women to lead in business and decision-making;
6. Recognition of and respect for royal leadership, honouring traditional authorities as custodians of heritage and governance;
7. Recognition and respect for religious and faith leaders, valuing their role in moral guidance and community cohesion;
8. Progressive Pan Africanism and commitment to development of the African people and economy, linking South Africa’s fate to the continent’s rise through collaboration;
9. Strong opposition to corruption and wrongdoing, rooting out graft with transparency and accountability;
10. Anti-imperialism, resisting foreign domination that undermines sovereignty and exploits resources.
11. Black economic solidarity, promoting unity in trade, investment, and support among black-owned enterprises; we place emphasis of black economic solidarity because black people in South Africa and according to the Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) Income and Expenditure Survey (IES) are recipient of more than R2 trillion annually in wages, social grants, and dividends and yet we spend more than 80% of our income with businesses that are owned, controlled and benefiting people who do not look like us.!
Afrika Mayibuye Movement remains committed to building a united, progressive, disciplined and people-centred organisation that will fundamentally transform South Africa.
